Privacy policy

This page explains how TET Education LMS collects, uses, and protects data about learners and teaching staff.

Data we store

Account information: email, display name, and role.
Learning data: enrolled courses, lesson progress, quizzes, submitted assignments, notes, questions, and certificates.
Technical data needed to run and secure the service, such as access logs and rate limits.

To deliver courses, record progress, review work, and issue certificates.
To send notifications about courses, invitations, and accounts.
To protect the service against unauthorized access. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Instructors and leaders can choose files from Google Drive to attach to lessons. This uses the drive.file scope, so the app can only access the files a person selects in the Google Picker and cannot read any other files.
When the sharing option is on, the app sets “Anyone with the link · Viewer” on the chosen file so learners can open it.
We store only the file ID, name, type, and viewer link. The Google access token stays in the browser's memory for the session and is never stored on our servers.
TET Education LMS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data is stored and processed by our infrastructure providers (database, file and video storage, email delivery) only to operate the service.
We disclose data only when required by law.

Data is kept while the account is active or as required by the learning program.
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us. You can revoke Google Drive access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
